• Pompino still not here, assume the man will get it all sorted this weekend? I hope anyway, have some bars and a new seatpost waiting with a friend, will get a shorter stem and that’ll be it done.

As for the homer I forced myself out to change the cranks today, they’re on, they look pretty rad tbh

The cranks are not exactly “ceramic smooth” but they turn? I think it’s the spacers tbqh but I couldn’t be arsed to take them on and off, there is the right spacing on each, I watched the video 9x

Honestly it’s a mountain bike I’m sure the weather and mud will ruin the bb fast enough, they’re on tight, no play, and in exhausted torquing it all down

I found a Thomson 6 bolt for this, another bst buy with arrival date of “whenever, stop being a cop?” It’ll go on with the stooge bars, with the cranks it will essentially be that big bmx I always chatter on about.

Arkane WW is taking a look at the wheels, I’ll come back on the train or something and put them on, hopefully come back with some friends Go ride it round swinly, test it’s all ok then it’ll go back in the shed.

Maybe dump it on some poor bike person when I need it again, play coy and go “oh I dunno, just found it in the shed :)” and they can deal with all the quirks next time.

Why do you have spacers? Plus the torque on NDS plastic bolt is only for preload, pinch bolts and the pin holds them in place so if they are not moving smoothly the preload is done up more than needed.
