Montpelier house. Someone offered 420, won't go any higher. I went in at 425 in a really strong position and seller is holding out for 5k more, despite nobody else putting offers in and not that much interest at the moment. Said I'm not moving.
Previously agreed sales at the asking price have fallen through twice and the seller has somewhere to go to with no upward chain.
It was also listed when the stamp duty holiday was in play and achievable....
If she has somewhere to go to, how quickly can it all be done if solicitor and surveyors aren't too busy?
