Dunno if it was Karma for my earlier post but just been chased by another loose dog:
"She's just a puppy"
"She's just being friendly"
"If you stop moving your arms she'll calm down"
My advice to the owner:
"If you had her on a lead this wouldn't be happening"
"If you can't recall her she should be on a lead"
Kept it quite civil and to be fair the conversation about this that we had after the dog was restrained was quite amicable and apologies were offered.
Compulsory dog lanes are in the manifesto now too though, as well as the excellent Dog Tax & neutering suggestions above, the former of which will fund the segregated infrastructure. It will be called the National Dog Network and will be administered by a charity called Segdogs.
