Campag shifter question

I'm unfamiliar with setting up Campag shifters. Should the brake lever and gear lever sit flush? If so how would I adjust it. Thanks

Pull the lever in its usual braking direction until you can see the whole of the end of this silver pin. Then push that pin from the outside inwards

Ha ha! I’ve just realised I’ve been riding with my levers wrong for two months. Fixed it now * embarrassed face *
