Yeah I don't get that. Merlier was quickkkkkkk when he won whereas Philipsen ran out of gas and got rolled by a old dude and a boxer.

You've already ruined a chance of a stage win, and having seen that you give the same guy another chance.

Philipsen has been beated about 7 times by Cav this year

I think the Roodhofts have made a promise of some kind to Philipsen, perhaps he was doing great numbers just before the Tour. Merlier must be fuming.
