Being reported that they've withdrawn the lawsuit anyhow.

Apparently some guy in Scotland has just invented some kind of inflatable tyres...
-
• #879
It was all talk to appease the pitchfork-carrying masses.

Who’s going to pay for Marc’s arms!?
-
• #881
Insurance?
-
• #882
areMarkCav still crying?
-
• #883
What will be the road conditions for the riders following him?
-
• #884
Just got the last 15 or so riders to hug, then he'll be ready to ride
-
• #885
Movistar just forgot to renew it.
-
• #886
But has Bernal finished yet?

Whilst we are here was anyone else a left feeling a little unnerved by how good Pog was…?

Doping thread >>>
Or at least that's the vibe he's been giving me, but that's been with the sport in general. Still find it hard to believe that marginal gains explains they're climbing faster than during peak doping.

Yes. A bit…pas normal. Thought the same about MVDP at Strade.
Küng agrees, BTW.

I was a little alarmed by the amount of hugging in the quickstep video. What is wrong with a handshake?
-
• #891
Kungs reactions were certainly adding to the vibe.
-
• #892
True but given mvdp has been doing abnormal rides his entire career since a junior it’s slightly different. And his form faded later in the spring classics so possible he peaked a bit too early.

I'd like to think he's just a prodigy.
I feel like Froome was the first GC guy who was capable of winning the time trials as well as well as being the best in the mountains. Despite that he always had the occasional off day, bad handling, crashes, bonking, ugly pedalling style that made him seem a bit more realistic. Can't see any flaws with Pogacar at all.
I'd think the same with Roglic if he could stay on his bike.

The uphill sprint wattage and duration was insane, when you consider the point it was in the race…I’m tempted to say ‘superhuman’.
-
• #895
Can we create a montage of disbelieving reactions to Pogacar?
So far we have Dumoulin, Van Aert, Kung, and probably many more for the next 10 Tours... -

Also I thought she looked a lot like where's wally.
Actual lol
-
• #897
Why is everyone so sure that perma-surprising WVDP is definitely not a GC contender?
-
• #898
Wout Van der Poel is a terrifying prospect.
-
• #899
I'm giving Pog benefit of the doubt for now and going with 'generational talent'. Does look remarkably strong and composed, long way to go though and it just takes one bad day to bring him back to the realm of mortals.

Because this year he's leaving early.
Apparently Mark Cavendish is back to winning ways. Who'd have thought it eh?
