if you have some sort of 'record tv' option, record the 7pm highlights show so you can watch it that evening without waiting... it's a bit old fashioned I'll admit, but it works for my late meetings / early bedtime!

Yeah was around 10:15 last night, pretty frustrating and hard to see where the delay comes from.

How do people watch highlights/catch-up.
I record the highlights on a PVR.
Edited to add - does require a TV though.

ITV takes forever to make it available online. Is this the same for everyone else?
Yep.
Record it from Freeview / Freesat / Cable or Sky if you have the ability.
Only the latter two will give you HD.
