I kind of want to see a dropper post on that, with the control on that mount!

I kind of thought it was at first glance, with the weird looking suspension (?) seat post

Klunker bars added. This thing goes everywhere.

There’s something about those orange fades that’s just the right side of the anti line :-D
Like the bars - what are they?

Haha, orange fades to cover up where the OG pain was peeling off. Eventually I'll get the frame done properly, as it's a great frame.
Velo Orange Klunkers they're called. Lots of rise and very comfy!

Meh - water under the bridge now - . Never worried about locking outside shops - in the end taken in the dead o night locked in my porch. Probs not quite bling enough for this thread even. Carried so much shopping with it, kids too, never got to worry any trails but I felt like it couldda bikepacked/ gravelled/ bimbled - no trouble. Not bad for a 1993 'city bike'.

I like those maxxis, what are they?
-
• #142
Not my bike but I believe they’re Ikons in 2.2 or something thereabouts. I had some on my 456 and they were great.

Thanks! It’s a fun bike. Turned out well seeing I used a lot of spare parts to build it up.

Thank you! Yes all on a very good budget. The full bike was £70, I’ve probably put £150 into it!

New to me 26” P2’s fitted. Not quite sure how the grips ended up at the same height as the saddle but here we are 🤷🏻♂️ Need to refit the front mudguard.

Here's my 2002 (I believe) Orange P7 I recently rescued from the depths of fb marketplace. Very much a build in progress but the geometry is the stuff of dreams, so happy with the way it rides :D Looking to switch to disk brakes when the right fork pops up.
