Bought this for 20€ and sold Campy Aero bottle for 50€ and LX-Brifters for 30€. As few new parts as possible + parts bin. Like it a lot actually but need to put on fenders now. Paint is really nice in person.

Why is there a down tube shifter on the seat tube?
EDIT: No bosses on the downtube, but why would you add a boss on the seat tube?
-
• #123
Shifts the rear mech now, but I don't think the original build was like that, since there are cable guides at the headtube.
My Specialized Sequoia had a shifter mounted on the seat tube too, but that was more a lever to control the dynamo that was positioned between bottom bracket and tyre/wheel. So I guess this Koga had the same system.

Exactly, it's for the dynamo normally. With a few tweaks this could be a nice bike, these Koga frames are really next level.

I think I also spy a cage mount underneath the down tube so this was probably some top lever touring model.
some other favs
