  • All the mechanical underpinnings are Micra aren't they.

  • The old methods are the best

  • drove to london's famous easternly end yesterday for shitz+giggz because i can because electric car etc.

parked up. fucked about for two hours. completely forgot where i left the car. took us nearly an hour to find the cunt.

    o how we laughed.

  • Do you have iPhone paired with car Bluetooth? Apple maps will leave a car icon in the right place for you. Useful for next time.

  • anrdoid. i have to plug it in via usb in order for it to work in the car.

i'll take a pic of the road sign next time.

    the old ways...

  • drop a pin on google maps :)

  • Android does it automatically. He could have just said "Hey Google where's my car?"

    Hahahhaha

  • And you can pair it with Bluetooth dude. The USB connection is only for Android Auto to work.

    Time for your next lesson?

  • Sounds like Android is extremely intuitive and provides context driven prompts of great utility

  • i just tried that and google seems to think my car is somewhere in FoHi right about now, which made my heart skip a beat or two.

    it's not .

  • yes no i do realise this - AA only working when tethered is a bit shit tho.

  • drove to london's famous easternly end yesterday for shitz+giggz because i can because electric car etc.

but then you cant get wankered :(((

  • What car is it? Most have a location thing in the app now…

  • go back to land rovers, hillbilly

  • i think this has more to do with the fact that i haven't been anywhere near london proper for over a year and a half. and my short term memory is fucked.

  • second stage of rehab

  • anyhoo. electric cars - they're great and everyone should think about getting one.

  • Have any of you younguns used a London A-Z before? Used to find my way around with one of them ( my eyesight was good then) highlighter pen and biro used to plan my route.
Often getting lost is the best way to get to learn your way around.
I sound very old , this should go in the middle age thread...

  • I've been flathunting with an A to Z and a copy of Loot

  • Lost my car in Torrevieja for a good hour, rental-spec Clio in a vast grid of identikit shabby Spanish streets

  • One year anniversary of my car having its third replacement ecu fitted and thankfully it’s been mostly trouble free in that time (touch wood).

Treated it to a fresh set of Michelin PS4’s, a full alignment and a proper wash to mark the occasion. Nice to finally ditch the runflats, something I had planned to do a long time ago but had to get over the cost of an ecu from bmw.

  • Why am I looking at R34s on Carsales? So affordable!!!

  • AA only working when tethered is a bit shit tho.

I think that's a good thing... Sits under the dash and gets charged while you're etc...

  • tru - tho the integration/ screensharing into the onboard digi-dash is a bit shite as well. one third of the screen is used to tell you that you are using AA. gee thanks for that, that's super helpful.
