Not clear yet.
Soler won't be starting tomorrow, fractured hand apparently. Hirschi dislocated his shoulder, so he's a doubt too.

I’d be amazed if Froome starts and finishes tomorrow.

Soler
Bit more than fractured hand apparently. Astonished he finished the stage if this is correct:

According to the pdf from that same link, Froome went to hospital after the stage for scans for a chest injury.
It would be amazing if he started tomorrow.

It's like that scene in El Día Menos Pensado from last year's Tour, except this time they really reslly shouldn't have been willing him to carry on.
-
• #135
That is fuckin nuts. Was that from spectator caused crash or the one nearer the finish? Just thinking of the distance he rode with two fractured arms.
-

Most of the 21 riders named on the post-race injury communique were involved in the second crash, including Soler.
Edit: From a search on Spanish Twitter it would appear that Soler crashed in the first crash and rode the remaining 40-odd kms to the finish with his injuries. 😳

This is the injury status of just the AG2R-Citroen team.

what does alaphilippe's winning celebration means?
I read it as "I just became a father and still won the stage"

Valverde is injured and it’s the Mur.
If he doesn’t win, what’s the point? -
• #145
Different Mur.
Have you seen season 2 of the Netflix Movistar documentary? Valverde looked done in that, has lost his will to win and could no longer hurt himself enough to win. I'm surprised he's riding the Tour, he was clear in the documentary that 2020 was his final one.

Froome confirmed to start today

Suppose there'll be a few teams with injury status reports like that. Soler though, 40+ Kms, strong/brave/stubborn/stupid (delete as appropriate).

Gotta feel for the spectator who took everyone down. Proper game over moment. How do you recover from that?
Gotta feel for the spectator in blue who got piledrived by several riders in the second crash.

Agreed.
As stupid as it was, not nice hearing organisers to come out saying they are going to sue. Particularly as UCI and other organisers levels of negligence have been far greater at times. -

Not to shame Tony Martin, but I think I could cycle through some cardboard without crashing. Not saying I'm better than a Pro Tour rider, but I kinda am.
totally. i wonder if he will start tomorrow.
