trackshark shipping sorted

So I bid on and won this, but now it’s in New York State and not entirely sure how to get it back here to Orkney..

I’ve got in touch with the local bike shop and the local wee shipping place but just wondered if anyone from the forum was around there and could help out please?? Got in touch with king kog in Brooklyn who can but they’re wanting $100 for boxing it up plus shipping, and I’ll need to get it shipped there first..

Any help would be massively appreciated!!

then book the shipping through bikeflights https://www.bikeflights.com/ . I've shipped bikes with them from the USA twice before and they're brilliant

(tbf $100 to pack a bike seems a reasonable rate )

+1 for Bikeflights, I had a great experience with them. Friend used them for work (cycling tours..etc) for usa domestic and abroad, for over a hundred transfers over the years, never had an issue.

Thanks very much! Read good things about them but they’re wanting almost double what I paid for the frame so trying to find other options.

Someone from the auction house (or a friend of theirs) is going to wrap and box it for $60 and then let me arrange pick up which seems pretty good.

@50crates I know right?! No need for it and a bit of a pain to get it here but think it’ll be worth it!

It wasn’t, but after tax, bidder fees, shipping and probably customs it’ll come out to about the price I’d expect to pay for one of these.. if I’d lived over there it’d have been a bargain!
