Went shopping yesterday with the missus, never seen such meagre sized carrots, celery stalks, and similar veg.

Stuff I grow on the allotment without the industrial benefit(?) of chemical inputs / artifical light / controlled temps tends to be smaller but tastier than owt from the supermarket. Ditto for the organic veg box from a local market gardener.
