I think the key is to try and avoid buying a coffee unless you know it won't be shit tbh.
There is a JH video about drinking shit coffee, something about helping you appreciate good coffee, but as someone who tries to keep it to 1 or 2 cups a day, I'm not that keen on wasting a precious cup on mud water!

What do people do when you're in a coffee shop and you've just been served a cup of steaming mud water?
I'd ask @Sumo or @mmccarthy to pour it away and go make me another one.
