  • I found the Nova much less faff to set up with mudguards and disc brakes.

    The Tara has a threaded boss at the top of the hoop for a dynamo mount which the Nova doesn't.

    Tara paint scratches pretty easily, the Nova obviously doesn't.

    I'd go for the Nova - they are discontinued and quite hard to come across, £50 is a good price.

  • Cheers, going mudguards/rim brakes and dynamo on a ti bike… the stainless is a huge bonus but I’m not a fan of the bracing strut on the nova aesthetically… the Tara would probably get painted (I know) to match fork/stem to the ti frame… hmm… I know I won’t see the strut once panniers are on, but the nova also has a 5kg lower weight limit…

    Edit - went for the Tara…
