• Reminds me of having hangover brunch on All Saints Road with Paula Yates and Nick Cave + I think various kids at the next table. Good Times.

  • I loved W11, I lived there at the tail end of the good times when it was still a total dump, cheap rent and loads of fun people around... Then Jerry Hall started drinking in the Warwick and Wendy James and her puffa jacket mob took over my old local, Finch's, and it wasn't the same anymore... Old John the landlord abusing us for cleaning out the trivia machine again, endless Saturday Guinness sessions, getting home pissed and realising you'd left all your food shopping under the table in the pub... Sigh... A golden age...

  • drinking in the Warwick

I used to play pool in there occasionally mid/late 80s.
A friend’s dad made good and they moved from Se14 to Kensington Pk. Rd.
There used to be 2 pool tables - one for money games - I played on the other.
Old Jamaicans playing with short cues from the hip. Deadly.

First pub to have CCTV all the way back then because of all the dealing going on. (Citation needed)
