  • just trim the excess...

  • Anyone have thoughts on a preferred (reasonable priced) bag for the OG Alpkit knock-offs? Drop Bear seems a bit pricey for what it is. Looking at some boating bags, but sizing could be a PITA.

Also, anyone mounted a klickfix handlebar attachment in a non awkward way?

  • Not boating bag style, so probably not what you are after, but i've been using one of these on some on-one geoff's : https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B005PK1G76/.

  • That looks pretty ace for the price. Might be a great option for day rides... I think I'll pick one up. Thanks!

Although something a bit more robust for multi-day tours is a good idea I think.

  • Trim trim trim.

I have the same brake levers as you on mine, and I have a real issue with the bolt. The bridge between the two sections is a really nice place to rest your hand, but the bolt digs in! I need to get some with a wraparound clamp and bolt below.

  • Does anyone have a pair of On One Mike bars (or similar) they want to sell?

  • yeah i have a pair on our tandem, was wanting to swap them for ritchey ones at some point

  • Would you be able to take a photo with a ruler between the curved front parts?

I put loop bars on my partner's bike but it's not working with the Klickfix bar back she has. Let me know when you get the replacements and I'd be happy to buy them off you.

  • Also got a spare pair of Mike bars available - 625mm tip-to-tip (mesured to the centre)

  • All sorted for the Mike bars, thanks @Alb

  • Untrimmed Geoff bars - £20 posted. Pm if you want them.

  • Are there any silver jones-type bars about?

  • You can check whatbars.com ..
Velo Orange Curvy or Ganola bars have either a little more or a little less sweep.

  • Following on from the conversation above...does anyone have a pair of Mike bars still for sale that can either be collected in London or posted asap? They're needed before the weekend.😘

  • What’s the up to date consensus on a jones alternative?

  • These still? https://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/HBOOGBV2/on-one-geoff-handlebar Currently seem to be on sale as well.

I’ve got the on a rigid mtb, quite like the position it keeps the wrists on, definitely upright and swept back, and a little harsh as I’d assume they are just straight gauge rather than anything too fancy at that price.

  • Yeah the PX Geoff are a fairly straight rip of the Joneseses, I had a pair but switched to the Ritchey Kyote which are similar in shape but more like an exaggerated mtb bar - like a wider On-One OG

  • Not a Jones hommage and probably expensive, but i like the numbers of the new VO crazy bar.
780mm wide, 35 backsweep and 40mm rise plus stupid horns should be very nice.
