In South Devon, there definitely seems to be fewer people this time around, having said that, the traffic has been pretty horrendous. Last week we did a Thur/Fri/Sat stay at a tiny (6 pitch) campsite in North Devon for the first time in a year, so partner could work on her anxiety exposure therapy, and judging from the number of new tents/rookie camping errors, I think that a lot of people had planned on Portugal then got the rug pulled, and were left with not a lot of options.
Am just wondering, were you there when lockdown was eased for last july? Friends who live in Devon and Cornwall said that there were alot more people there and on the beeches with little social distancing and masks back then....but masks weren't compulsory...
