We've looked pretty uninspiring so far and I think we'll get beaten by the first good team we play.

This has been my experience of England since 1975.

Yours, mine, the managers and the players. They already all know that they're going to lose to Germany / France in the next round, and that it's acceptable because everyone else knows / expects them to.
