Eerder Metaal have a main frame hugger for sale which does just that? I think the tricky bit is getting the curve right so it lays flat when clamped down. I’d tried a planetx/podsac cargo cage and it wasn’t great as it wasn’t suited for the curves.

separately--anyone here bodge together their own mid-tube 'platform' on their brompton? i'm looking for one longer than the one offered by that company in barcelona but curious if anyone's already worked out a source for the right hardware u-bolts needed.
use case: place to strap down a long/large battery case
