Around 10 years ago the going rate in London was £400/month cash in hand, a car, accommodation and food.

My daughter did it 10 years ago for an architect in Putney. £75 + food and accommodation and an oyster card. This was for getting the kids ready for school, taking and picking up after. Making the kids meals and getting them ready for bed.
Extra money earnt sitting when they went out on a night, had a few holidays with them Summer Villas and Winter chalets.

Of course talked to all the other Nannies outside the schools and in the parks, all the tittle tattle from those that looked after celebs kids and the big wages to be had by the uniformed college trained Nannies.
