We have a nanny training school near us (norland) and if your kids are young enough you can get a free student nanny. We did it for a year.we had 3 different nannies over that spell. They couldn’t legally be left alone with your kid when they were training, so they were pretty useless tbh and we were kinda guilted into it. The nannies were expecting to make probs £30k ish for a standard job with accommodation travel and food included. Obvs there were bigger salaries to be had. There were stories of mega-rich and royals and horror stories of parents who saw their kids for an hour once a fortnight.
