I saw someone sticking their own counterfeit "reduced" stickers over some choice items in Sainsburys once.
I'm very guilty of hanging around the poor marking down shop assistant and generally getting in their way...
the trick is* to go around the store picking up items with a use by date that is likely to be marked down later in the day and also know whenabouts the poor marking down shop assistant will appear with their marking down sticker gun.
You then present said items in the face of the poor marking down shop assistant for price reduction consideration.
You will probably need to do this as part of the Tramp's Buffet scrum.
