Was tempted to buy one of the cheap deore m6000 bundles - rd/shifter/cheapo chain and cassette. Any problems to expect?
Also wha the customs situation these days? It’s been years since I ordered anything from abroad I think!

Did you go ahead and order a groupset? Just wondering what your experience was as I’m looking for a r8000 groupset and this route is definitely appealing.

I didn’t in the end. Had a few quid set aside for various bike expenses including this, then I accidentally used it to insure my new car for a year 😄
