Thanks for all the kind words! I'm trying to make a business out of this so if anyone is looking to get a conversion done, pls drop me a message!
Got a full size Transit called Big Jim starting very soon 😃

Good to be back in more southerly latitudes, and christening the alfresco cold shower. Just perfect in 32C.

Think i've mentioned it before, if you are going for older van go for one of the Sevel vans. Galvanised from the factory. All the others rust. Been running a cable underframe for a rear camera on my Relay. No rust! none anywhere.

Thanks it will be the family car as well as campervan so looking at a nearly new transporter, just debating between getting a van and doing fit out now or getting a shuttle and getting conversion linked up later in the year…

Ok, premium on a very combi is crazy high, so will be go panel van.
I know what the design I want is, and it’s broadly standard, but I don’t want a rock and roll bed, just two individual seats with isofix and a nice big boot.
Any recommended converters?

Do you keep the bike outside when sleeping inside?
-
• #713
Yup, prop ‘em up together under the tarp tent thingy and lock them together. Only staying at campsites that’s why I chance it.

Make sense, plus you can always get those motorcycles disc brake alarm padlock to really make sure it hard to get away with it.

Buy a VW T5/6, get 4 floor rails installed. Then search ebay for California/ Caravelle rear (or 5th) seats
(I had an additional rail fitted to accommodate an additional 3rd row single seat)

Does anyone need any sound deadening for a conversion? I have 14 sheets of Dodo Mat DEADN Hex sound deadening left over from mine

• #717
yes please! dm'd

• #718
In dodgy lands- could you take the front wheel off and chuck them across the front seat?
-
• #719
Sound deadening still available if any other takers - each sheet is 375mm x 250mm. Just realised it's also not "DEADN" as per the link as I bought it late last year, it's whatever last years version was called.

Ignoring that it’s not a true EV and people have been campervanning eNV200s for years, it still looks shite. £62k+VAT
