Caveat emptor!
Why?? Whats so wrong about the bike? -
• #5
Doesn't look like any supercorsa Ive ever seen.
And you can't have it on here and eBay. Which you do. -
• #6
Looks different but it is a genuine Supercorsa. I thought It failed to list on ebay since I could not find it. Will need to check on that

Ok. Take your word for it. I'm sure the folks on this forum will decide for themselves.

It's the old logo, you don't know vintage when you see it 🙂

Oh yes. I see.

Surely a few clear signs to an amateur that is not an old Cinelli, such as no rear slotted dropouts.

is this the new prototype supercorsa?

prototype supercorsa?
Yes, with prototype DuraAce marked Ultegra to throw the spies off the scent 🙂

The mis-matching cranks are a sweet touch. It enables one to exist in two eras at the same time. That way you are distracted from the fake decals.
Also, the Halfords quick-release seat binder is just the touch of class this bike needed that was sadly missing from the factory. Much improved.

The fork crown does have the proper C logo. The bottom bracket shell looks like a Spoiler shell.
The hole for the plastic Cinelli sticker on the seatstay cap is clearly visible.
Supercorsas have used a semi vertical dropout since the 1990s. This one looks to be missing the adjuster screws.
I would like to see better pics of the under side of the BB and the rear dropouts.
I think it is a legit Supercorsa, I have had a few myself. The repaint is awful, especially when decent decals are all over EBay. -

Man you guys are angry. It is a genuine SC with tasteless paintjob. But I am asking half the price of a nice one. Looks do not hurt the ride. You can slap a set of decals for 40 eur or make a Cinelli art bike without massacring a nice one.

Fixing that paint will cost £600+
May as well buy an unmolested one.

Whatever the state/authenticity of the bike, it's still on eBay and forum rules are clear you can't advertise it for sale here and there at same time.

Also, I don't think it's anger. The forum self polices to stop it becoming awash with crap, overpriced or dishonestly described. I'd see how you get on with your eBay auction and remove it from here
-

I do not see this as a crap, overpriced or dishonest. Let the admin delete the post as I do not see how I can do it myself.

Looks like a Supercorsa, but you'd have to start over to make something of it

The only way to really know is a serial number.

Selling my Cinelli SC 58cm. Lovely bike and rides extremely comfortably.
Colour is Ferrari red and it has no flaws. Have no idea if it was repainted or not though since I bought it like that.
