You'd think that someone as 'savvy' Levy wouldn't allow himself to get rejected so often in public... so far that's Conte, The Sheriff (was that real?), Fonseca and Gattuso all being approached and turning him down. Maybe each one will be a 'cliffhanger' ending for episodes of the next series.

Yes - and for Tezuguet who is out for the season. Makes sense as a stopgap for a year while some of the kids come through as he can cover a number of positions. Just quite unexpected as we've been very much focussing on young signings with potential to improve - still the youngest squad in the league, so probably a bit of experience will be useful. Inter wanted him for another year so obviously not completely shot yet.

In other news, rumours seem to be that Grealish will start tonight with Sterling swapping to the right. Also Shaw, James and Maguire coming into the back 4. Bit harsh on Mings after such a good game, but Southgate was always going to back a part-fit Maguire as soon as he could. (May also be nonsense leaks of course).

I didn’t even know until recently that he actually owns 29.4% of ENIC. Always thought he was an employee somehow.

Looking forward to tonight's game, not looking forward to the reports of what bad things the Scottish fans invariably do before/afterwards.

Why are the Scottish fans such plonkers compared to the Welsh? Someone else mentioned about how the Welsh fans seem to manage lower expectations better. I have to admit that the Scottish fanbase is what has killed my enthusiasm for supporting my country these last few years (not qualifying for anything to support them in also helps tbf).

Scottish fans are generally good natured, just get into drunken high jinks. England fans want to re-start long forgotten conflicts in whichever country they happen to be in.

Ive seen a few Scottish boys in the scud, which is a new development. Im yet to see any chairs thrown, bars smashed up, water canons, running battles with police etc dont think thats ever happened with the Tartan Army, could be wrong.

I hear the the police have a dispersal order for groups gathering if they are causing bother....there is potential for an escalation later on. I hope not.
