Big ones 14-16 mostly for drawing up drugs etc as low resistance. Needles up to 14g are also used as part of cannula to insert IV access - bigger ones over 18G only really used in cases where you need to give large volumes of liquid quickly eg during anaesthetics or if you’re seriously unwell/in shock.
Going by this (slide 7), which I can't really verify, it seems as though there are two different sizes '23g and 25g'. Presumably I got the 25g one.
Edit: Actually 23g. Whereas it would seem that AZ2 was much more like 27g...
God knows what 14g is for! I hope I never have to find out.
