Nice one, thanks

Sounds like it would be less hassle to just get a new crank.

Perhaps, but it's not just the crank; it's the spider (£70) and BB (£35), so in total am looking about £250 to replace the whole lot. Even with a couple of workshop hours, I'd hope I'd still be saving money.

Bon velo west Norwood seem to have a knack for solving issues like that. I’d give them a try if sea bass aren’t available.
To add- I don’t think they’re the most competent shop, I just know they’ve sorted out some real pita but expensive bikes for my mates

sbc not seabass. Dont take your bike to seabass.

have you asked that seat post guy who magically gets seized seat posts and stems out? this is essentially the same problem and he doesn't charge all that much.

Got it 👍

No, good point. I actually have a stuck seat post in the same frame, so I could hopefully kill two birds with one stone. Cheers for that.

Good one, cheers. Been in touch with them, they're not confident either.

I'm a big fan of the guys at Paradise Cycles, not sure how they would fare with this though.

Winston Vaz got a really stuck seatpost out for me recently, he might be able to have a good go at it.
My bike has a serious problem, and despite all my efforts to resolve it myself, it's not happening, so I need to take it to a pro.
Please can someone recommend me an LBS with a workshop which consistently gets the job done please?
TIA
