Assuming you're using flat handlebars, you can pick up basic hydro brakes for probably cheaper than cable ones these days so why would you?
I've used a lot of cable disc brakes in the past though not on cargos, and initially they're great but I find their performance fades without a load of fiddling and I wouldn't put them on a cargo personally

Fair point. I've got some cheap mech discs in the parts bin with the intent to use them, but I guess they are pretty cost effective nowadays, and bleeding isn't as intimidating as I once recalled it being after a couple instructional vids.
Anyone care to chime in on rough length for their front hose on a Mini-Max? Want to sort out if most stock length 850-1000cm for a front brake will do, even if it might be blaringly obvious that it probably won't.
Got an Omnium Classic inbound. What's the word on using mech disc for the front? Too much friction with all the cable bends or par with a rear brake?
