On paper maybe, but 11-12 I only use with a fair amount of inertia going, well over 20mph. On the other hand the 37-46 only happens at really steep, loose off-road stuff at walking speed and it's literally grind to spin fast.

I find that fine, so yeah I wouldn't notice it much. If I need more than 37 I'm happy to spin. I use my 51 a lot!
Helps a lot not stressing out to keep momentum in every get a MTB climb. I don't use it a lot but when things get rowdy it's amazing
