The 46t cassette have something like a 37t to 46t jump. It's very noticeable.
That's less than the jump from 10t-11t with a 40t chainring.
No it's not.: 37/46 = 0.804 10/11 = 0.909
So 10-11 is approx 10% jump, 37-46 is approx 20%. The gap is twice as BIG.
