Since I was too eager getting the bike together and start riding, I didn’t manage a proper build thread. Sorry about that. However, since I just got the last things changed and dialed, I figured I should put some words to the pictures. Numbers and specs down below, but first a bit of background.
As Mads mentioned, this is an all-road and all-day kind of bike. The project originally started out two years ago, when I settled on riding the LoSS in 2020 (which was postponed until this year). The Length of Sweden Sverigetempot is a 2100km self supported brevet style ride, crossing the total length of my home country of Sweden. Starting in the mountains on the northern border to Norway and finishing on the southern most coastline in Smygehuk a week later. This bike is designed with the demands and challenges of that ride in mind. Long days in the saddle, through the very cross section of Sweden. I’ve already covered some serious milage on the bike and feel more than confident about its performance.
On July 2nd, we set of and I will put the bike through its paces for real.
I designed the frame from the ground up based on a frame-fit, and some expert input from Mads. As you might have noticed, I’m a tall guy with a very long and front-forward position. The seat angle is 75 degree and reach is at 440mm, paired with a 130mm stem. This makes for a very comfortable tt-position, which I literally can spend hours on end in. Believe me, I’ve tried. Aero and comfort etc. Compact geometry for a lot of exposed seatpost and space for 35mm tires with mudguards. The wheelbase of 1075mm makes cornering super stable, whereas a head angle of 74 and trail of 57mm contributes to some nimble steering.
The ride quality is simply amazing - it’s awake and smooth - like on days with endless tailwinds, setting sun in your face, fresh legs and blazing unicorns running along side. That pretty much sums it up.
As you have seen, Mads has done an absolutely amazing job on the frame. Stating the top-notch quality of his work to the crowd following this thread would be like kicking in an open door, but I’m so stoked on how this turned out. I’m so thrilled to have this bike along on the long ride and many more to come.
Build in short:
SRAM etap hydraulic drivetrain, HUNT 50s wheelset, GP5000 tires, Easton handlebar, Thomson X2 stem, Ritchey Carbon seatpost and ISM saddle. Will add tt-extensions with shifters.

I've been without my computer for a little while so haven't been able to continue work on the frame for @JensArne. I have the pc back now, but during the the last week I managed to cut out and replace downtube on my mates Kona Penthouse. It will act as welding practice before hitting the fancy frame for @JensArne

Should be used with caution

Too much clamping would bend the tube beyond a safe crimp, or not?

Yeah thanks for sorting me out with the Kona. It has been a surprisingly easy fix.
Re the Spank Spoons... they are Spotter Bars vol. 2 aren't they

Do the logos look like they might be removeable with acetone? I have been unable to locate another set of Hunter bars and think these might to the job until I do. Don’t want ‘spank’ written on my bike though ☺️

Its foul isnt it, sadly laser etched - I coloured mine in with sharpie, but that wore off, so I may just sand it off and then tape over it.

More tig practice...
I thought I'd make something useful from the practice so made a quick stem jig from parts I had in the shop and knocked up a stem for the cargo bike.

so made a quick stem jig
As you do, I'm forever knocking up stem jigs when I have a free moment ;)
Splendid work as always. -

Thanks Jon.
Well, the slotted 6mm steel bit was already made (from a previous frame fixture) and all other pieces just needed a bit if adaption. So it was a couple of hours putting bits together and tapping some holes. I'll make it more solid eventually, but it is surprisingly precise
Anyways gas pipe stems coming up 🤪
So nice!
