I know Edge can be made to run in 'IE mode' for certain sites.
When I'm filling in my timesheets on internal system, it's apparently emulating last millennium's IE 5 (!?) via some corporate policy. And on something else, it's emulating IE10.But I don't know how it's done, or whether that will solve your particular problem. It does seem to have solved lots of compatibility issues here though - used to have to use IE, and two different versions of Chrome to get work done.

A webpage (of software I am allegedly in charge of at work) functions on Internet Explorer but on Edge it doesnt - saying the connection isnt secure and the site doesnt have a certificate. In both cases they are http (no s). Can I make Edge give less of a shit about this and work like IE does?
