Being able to fit my old vice in the jaws of this monster is very satisfying.

Nice. Had one at my previous job, they’re quality.

Didn’t see these Runwell spanners in here.
Always see a couple mechs with them at the big uci events that come to the velodrome, I really should treat myself…

What colour would you say that wrench is, especially the top most edge in that picture?
-
• #110
pearlescent :)

Blugreepurblue?

pearlescent :)
I laughed.
Blugreepurblue
Thanks but not quite the word I’m looking for.

What colour
What colour? You need to choose one pixel. We've been here before, and you're not going to get an answer which is a name of a colour if you keep pointing to things which are different colours depending on the angle of illumination. There are about 115 thousand unique colours in that wrench picture

Isn't it commonly called Neochrome?
It's really common in PVD coated parts

Sigh, it was partly a joke at my expense, mate. I know the word ‘colour’ is probably not technically accurate; I’m a layperson doing my best.

Can’t really read what brand that is, really like that.
KTC Kyoto?

Runwell spanners are amazing, apparently njs bikes are deassembled after the race and re done at the next, all by the rider. All of them have the runners in hand. Plus an assortment of hozan tools.

I just can't decide between the compact or standard Runwell.
Compact would fit in the jersey pocket nicely but it looks like it'll take the first opportunity to jump out when riding rough stuff.

Not really sure if you're joking or taking the piss but iridescent might be the word you're looking for :)

I assumed KTC, only found that low quality image.

Runwell are calling that ^ 'Twilight'

Thanks for the replies.
Before I alienate additional distinguished forum members, I was referencing a post in another thread where I asked for help in remembering a word used to describe, what I recall as being called, a colour. Iridescent, pearlescent, nacreous, polychromatic and other accurate descriptors were kindly provided, but the exact word still eludes me. It has kept me up at night, and will likely haunt me the rest of my days.
I also partly hoped @M_V would miraculously have the answer for my missing word, but life isn’t a movie.
Wow! Got future vice duties covered for sure.
