    It seems to take 2 to get the cogs moving these days.

  • If you want to stick with fractions, think of it this way. Total number of fifths:

    Payee 1 pays five fifths, payee 2 pays three fifths. In total there are eight fifths.

    Payee 2’s amount as a fraction of the total is 3/8=0.375. Multiply by 100 to make that a percentage =37.5%

    Edit: wait, you were talking about the coffee, right? Maybe up your first morning pourover recipe from 60g/l to 70g/l.
