It’s a reference to a series of memes that had meaning to a distressingly small cadre.

That bike will be on eBay next week to pay whatever household expense isn't being covered by Tory party donations.

I hesitate to consider what this says about tubless riders.

I hesitate to consider what this says about tubless riders.
That’s most of us, so few people on here ride tubs

I’ve got a tyre I’m struggling to get on the rim. Never thought of a cable tie

Never thought of a cable tie
People only use cable ties because it's no longer routine to have a spare toe strap laying around

One of the most useful and undervalued tools of modernity.
Pro tip: if you have a long cable tie, wrap it twice, that way when you cut it you’ll have a useable cable tie for next time.

Also pro tip: be careful cutting it, you have the cinch them down quite tight on marathons and pluses, so scratching the rim or tyre is annoying easy if you’re rushing.

👍 That’s the preferred option, or one can use a needle or sharp tip to open the zip tie and reuse it.
Working in a bike shop one gets tons of disposable zip ties from bikes manufacturers. Prying them open can be a faff, so cutting is preferred, ideally in a way that they can be used multiple times.
Apparently Nickelodeon was mainly a US channel back in the day. You never know what you don’t know.
I still don’t get the pineapple passport stamp one. 🤔
