I was quite glad that bloke at the end pushed him.

Here it is in more detail. Presumably the builders make some nice stuff too, but it's really horrible. There's also no way it only cost $1500...

their basic frames start at over 2k so they paid for advertising to show they make ugly bikes.
Kinda strange since they are a small volume builder and bike sales are up. -

I quite like it

The bike is OK... I quite like it (if it didn't have flags painted on it).
The abomination is really just the drive train. If they'd picked a nicer crankset and didn't have the huge cassette this would look fine.

a nicer crankset
White Industries apparently and yet it looks like a £12.99 eBay special.

On that bike I would've gone for a TA Carmina, and considered a Rohloff or equivalent on the rear.

That is full wanker drivechain, there's a whole thread where it's pretty much the ideal.

Apparently it was all american components so they went with SRAM. If there's an american IGH manufacturer they could have used those. I don't know why it didn't strike me before, but the big splay of the chain from the chainring back to the derailleur and top of the massive cassette does look absolutely minging.

That looked rather set up to me, especially given his reaction and willingness to cycle right past him a few seconds later.

The last G7 before ww3.
There’s a summit every year, so hopefully not.
The artist also gave Judas’ hand to the kangaroo. What could this mean?

ha! look at the size of that passport sticker on that pineapple.
I’ve gone back several pages of my own posts, and I can’t figure out what you’re referring to. 😅

It's the fact that it's being broadcast on nick@nite
(I think, if not then I've got the wrong end of the passport pineapple sticker.)

From an analysis I read:
The kangaroo symbolizes the double-faced Australia which actively cooperates with the US in containing China, but is also eager to earn money from China, its largest trading partner.

Therefore you're supposed to feel old because a program that you may have watched as a young adult is now on a TV channel aimed at children (during the day) and young adults (in the evening).
It seems to be a low strength meme.

Yeh this. Not sure why India and Japan took a slap though 😂

LOL. If you're going to engage in foolish economic nationalism, which Biden seems at least as keen on as Trump was, then your "All American" bike is necessarily going to be a single speed, but as it won't have tyres you'll be glad of the reduced weight since you'll be carrying it, not riding it.

Not exactly.
If you grew up watching Nick, then chances are good you considered Nick at nite to be when the old people shows were on: I Love Lucy, Happy Days, the Wonder Years, I Dream of Genie, that photogenic witch with a twitchy nose, I’m talking ancient programmes without computers or cordless phones, often featuring events from the distant past like the Vietnam War or the space race.
Friends is now one of those shows.
