their basic frames start at over 2k so they paid for advertising to show they make ugly bikes.
Kinda strange since they are a small volume builder and bike sales are up.

The abomination is really just the drive train. If they'd picked a nicer crankset and didn't have the huge cassette this would look fine.

That is full wanker drivechain, there's a whole thread where it's pretty much the ideal.

Apparently it was all american components so they went with SRAM. If there's an american IGH manufacturer they could have used those. I don't know why it didn't strike me before, but the big splay of the chain from the chainring back to the derailleur and top of the massive cassette does look absolutely minging.

From an analysis I read:

LOL. If you're going to engage in foolish economic nationalism, which Biden seems at least as keen on as Trump was, then your "All American" bike is necessarily going to be a single speed, but as it won't have tyres you'll be glad of the reduced weight since you'll be carrying it, not riding it.
