• That Saab is all kinds of awesome.

The Outback has had an engine light for a while and really wanted to avoid paying the dealership prices to diagnose and fix. Turns out you can install their "specialist" software online that somebody has generously ripped and with a £15 cable read the codes yourself. It showed both O2 sensors were shagged so replaced these and it's feeling a lot better. Power and 4x4 mode are working again it's a lot smoother and generally has its mojo back. Should be a lot better on fuel economy now too, well for a 3.0l flat 6. Not the most complex job but first time plugging a laptop into the car so quite satisfying.

  • Good work! Those OBD2 port readers are great.

Linky please? I'm still having an intermittent issue getting the key out of the ignition and now the key fob doesn't wanna let me in the car! Annoying...
