My old bandmate, Dig, started out wanting to make a documentary about dub... He got the runaround quite a bit, chasing ghosts, etc... Then he managed to organise a meet with Bunny Lee through an intermediary, he was told he'd meet him at a barbers shop in Harlesden... No one showed up on the first day, he came back the second day and just waited around, eventually Bunny Lee sidled up and said hello...
They became great friends, put out loads of music together, Dig went out to Jamaica and spent time with the family, etc... He's recorded with Lee Perry, U-Roy, Bunny and loads of others... Amazing story... Pressure Sounds is his label, you might even own some of his catalogue!
