Have taken the bike to Devon. Hope to try and ride a bit of the Tarka trail if I can get a spare day. I heard it's flat, which is more than I can say for the brief footpath loop I rode today.
One change I've made since I last posted is that I've fitted MKS Allways EZY superior pedals. They have a quick release mechanism which means it's a bit easier to chuck the bike in the back seats of my car, no need to get the big pedal spanner out.
Taking it to Devon I wanted to fit it into the boot so I did a semi rinko thing which was a good way to get some grease on my white shirt that I can't get off. I don't have a bag for it either so it wasn't really a particularly wieldy package. I think I need to get some straps to tie the whole shebang together. What length voile straps should I get? 20 inches? 30? Toe straps don't seem long enough. Please advise.
