Outside TVH's gaff? Or actually on a bike? Likewise charmed I'm sure, either way!

Thanks. The Merckx? It's Columbus Zona, not everyone's dream tubeset but suits a big lad!

I have these chainrings and stripped one of the bolts (don't ask)
https://www.wiggle.co.uk/ta-syrius-chainring-1011-speed-chainring-110mm-bcdare these the part I need to replace ? seems steep

Most sets of doubles would work, no?
You’d be better off buying steel. -

New wheels and tyres for the town bike.. Wiiide Dartmoor Shield DH rims, Shimano dyno hub up front, cb-e110 coaster on the rear, laced with Alpine IIIs. Fancy Schwalbe Aerothan inner tubes and 2" Kojak folding tyres. Came from 2.4" racing Ralph's so a little more space under the mudguards but w/e.
Before I laced the cb-e110 hub I took it apart, filled it up with grease, and spaced the hub out. It dragged a little in the building stand but actually it rolls fine and way more braking power compared to a standard hub 🧐.
Oh yea also a new saddle and chain

Excellent. Once you use up that hub you can pick a NOS F&S from these guys. https://velo-classic.de/oxid2/Fahrrad-velo-classic/Naben-Nabenteile/

Bloody perfect.

Thanks! Never heard of F&S, are they good?

Never heard of F&S, are they good?
Good enough for SRAM to buy them out

I’d say the Fichtel and Sachs coaster was the best ever made.

Nice! That pic was taken in front of the green houseboat at oudeschans for sure. If this was GeoGuessr, I'd be on top of the leaderboard today :)

Took the awfully fitting guards off and fitted new tyres. Not sure what happened to the printing on them but they're super comfortable.

Ha, that's right. Its close to my personal workshop. Also very close to Theo's which is convenient for when I need parts... I guess you're also based in the Dam. Say hi when you see me :D

Could have known, as all real bike lovers in town seem to know Theo. He is my guru 🙏
I'm sure we're bound to bump into eachother at his place at a certain point in time. -

First outing for my new super stealth matte black DT Swiss hoops. Three days riding in Yorkshire and they’re great.
Rear was pinging at low speed but a drop of dry lube where the spokes cross silenced them. Hopefully the brake track stays black forever.

I recently acquired this Columbus Air frame from Marktplaats, I could use your knowledge selecting the appropriate components; thread link

Great score! That is well rare. Does the race number hanger also function as a cable guide? That seatcluster is georgeous too 👌
Edit: moving to the proper thread
yessss!
nice to meet you and the bike a while ago too
