  • That is the upper limit of anything I'm spending on a single album. I have sold one or two in that area price wise, it would all rest on condition. Good to know there's a copy around though.

With the Two Sevens Clash pressing, do you have the 3 disk one? I'm finding the extra disks have decent sound quality. The main album seems a bit thin but enjoyable with a bit of eq.

  • Now I'm certain its a dodgy copy, only got one disc. Cover also looks like it's been bodged together with clip art and is full of spelling mistakes. #nowlistening

Enjoying the hype around rsd, shows just how much of an appetite there is for vinyl.

  • So many bootlegs out there. Reggae has a long history of rights disputes, lax licensing and bootlegs.

Try the new one especially if you can get a look at it or are able to return it if it's not right. Recorded it yesterday and it played all the way through with only a bit of cardboard on the needle at the end of side 5! All sounding great though, or at least it did after I got into the right state of mind :)

As far as I know the label is on a push to get a lot of reissues out there but of course the 3 disk set ends up quite expensive.

Like you I'm happy to see people loving the vinyls! I've not seen much in the way of sales since the shops opened again though. Like most people I'm getting out and enjoying a bit of shopping too though.

I hope the factories can sort themselves out though. There's no point in pressing all these records if they're badly done.
