Yep. They're fun, you can ride over a cattle grid and feel nothing, and if you're going down a gravelly hill you can brake and lean as much as you like where normally I'd be afraid of falling over.
But you can really feel the drag on the road and for me I'm on the road too much for them to be worth it. Maybe for the Crust-y folk who ride in the desert they make sense.
I guess all of this is obvious but I had to try it myself to understand just how slow they really are
Well I think I'll be switching to 29"×2.25"... Plus tyres are nice off road but my god are they slow on the road. Glad I tried it though
