Velon highlights on Youtube continue to fail in unique ways, Tour de Suisse today has no commentary at all, ignores key points in the race and has an entirely Spanish language interview with Carapaz with no translation.

With Carapaz in this form the Tour is going to be interesting.

MVDP won’t start today’s stage of the Tour de Suisse, due to a cold.

My favourite bit so far is one of the fast Americans having 4+ people around him and he still has to yell at them to replace his bottles.

MVDP has started 18 days of racing in the world tour this year, won 6 times, and been on the podium 9 times. Mad.

One way of stopping the MAMILS from calling him soft for pulling out before the big mountains start.

I haven’t seen him race cyclocross much, but I’ve seen him do 60-minute high-threshold efforts around train yards and suburban wastelands with absurd amounts of scaffolding. Some newbs chasing him the whole time. Was entertaining, I guess.

(There’s a decent argument that gravel is similar, we just don’t get the coverage!)

Except gravel does't have speed, skill, sprints, skids or even selective corners! Plenty of choppers in flannel with barbags plodding along though. And 90 year old dudes.
