Graphics looking a bit PS3 for my tastes.

I am pure hype!

Will be a rare pre order for me, wishing the next 6 months away now.

yeah, definitely a bit ropey, but i'm just excited to play another Miyazaki game

I've always been put off with the graphics in Miyazaki's games on video -except Sekiro. They always look old-gen, but whenever I've been in game I've come to the opinion that the art work in the landscape is well worth the sacrifices they've made in near distance definition.

The run up to the final boss on Dark Souls 3 where the town in back ground is twisted up inception style was very climactic at the time.

I thought the Elden Ring graphics were looking a bit shit but I rewatched a Sekiro trailer and they're basically the same. Sekiro looks good while playing it so I think it'll be fine, it must be my standards have raised since getting the PS5 and tbh it makes the Demon's Souls remake look even better.

Despite being very popular games, they aren't AAA so can't put the level of time into the kind of asset richness/depth that Horizon Zero Dawn and Ghost of Tsushima do. The creativity of their worlds/monsters is much much richer so always gets forgiven in the experience and comes off as more impressive.
Very interested to learn the story GRRMartin put into it.

On that note, Returnal story is a mindfuck.

This is true but FromSoftware has sold a shit load of games so it's just them wanting to stay small, Sekiro sold $110m just on Steam

Wouldn't get your hopes up, I doubt it'll be anything more than 'claim the ring fragments from X amount of bosses'. I think he's more inputting about the 'world'.

Haha yeah it wouldn’t surprise me. Actually can’t stand game stories for the most part, one of the best things about fromsoft games is that the story is so light and cryptic. If it was full of npc dialogue like FF7 etc I would not be happy, but a slight uptick from a creative writer is welcome.

Lol, it is frustrating, you have to take into account the very slow steering of most trucks. Getting
bogged down is pretty much the core game mechanic.

I think I’ve been saying this for over 5 years but really want to play through the entire series.
Still haven’t.

Have started on Elder Scrolls Online. I haven’t played an MMORPG since Guild Wars so obviously have no idea what I’m doing. Have spent more time reading guides to try and understand the mechanics than I have actually playing the game.

That was a pretty stellar E3 from Xbox/Bethesda. Gamepass is so fucking good.

All these games announced for Game Pass might make me buy Series X at some point.

Advance Wars 1+2 remastered launching late this year on the Switch.
Hoping it paves the way for more AW, loved that series BITD.

Day 1 purchase for me.
