  • As for injections, Pfizer the first one hurt as I was tense, the second one in the other arm hurt less. But the person injecting relax me and wouldn't inject till the muscle was relaxed enough. But I hate needles and that makes my muscle tense.

  • I've never been bothered by needles and AZ#1 is still sore 3 days later so I don't think this localised pain has much to do with muscle tension or fear of needles or whatever, I think it must be the nature of the vaccine - maybe an immune response at the injection site?

  • No idea about the nature of the vaccines, but I know what I am like with needles. The second pfizer shot, in the other arm didn't hurt as much as the first. In fact, I'm not sure it really hurt at all.

When I had flu shots, the injection site would hurt more than the second pfizer shot.

The only thing I am sumising is that my left arm hurt alot more. This I would say is because I have auto immune issues with that shoulder, pre covid vaccine, pre covid so may be linked to that.
