I'm looking for an external hard disk (not ssd and around 4TB) to use to back up images of 2 MacBooks, are there any that are more reliable than others or ones to avoid?
I was thinking this one would do the job: https://www.ebuyer.com/881199-lacie-4tb-mobile-drive-usb-c-usb-3-0-portable-external-hard-drive-sthg4000400
(I was thinking I could partition it and keep bootable images on it).
Google backblaze Hard drive test or something like that, think they publish their stats.
Or get two and run carbon copy cloner to mirror them
I avoid seagate anything and buy western digital usually and as kboy has said below carbon copy cloner.
