Yeah this is generally when you blast all the CO2 into the tube in one blast (at least in my experience). I've exploded a few lightweight butyl tubes doing this as the cold air from the canister either freezes the tube in one section or restricts its ability to expand. Easy fix is to just inflate with multiple short blasts rather than dumping it all in at once.
TBF I did 2-3 shoots but I'll space them a bit more next time just in case. Patched the bloody things at the workshop, put a new tire and fixed the dinged wheel and it went up like a champ.
