Yeah this is generally when you blast all the CO2 into the tube in one blast (at least in my experience). I've exploded a few lightweight butyl tubes doing this as the cold air from the canister either freezes the tube in one section or restricts its ability to expand. Easy fix is to just inflate with multiple short blasts rather than dumping it all in at once.
Odd question but anyone had troubles with latex tubes and Co2? I just blew two, possibly because a chunk of car went through my sidewall and dinged the rim, or maybe because I put too much pressure (but it should take up to 140 psi).
Anyways, if anyone got some side of the road drama with this combination of like to hear it.
